She stepped inside our brewery. Her dress was woven from hemp fibre, her hair the colour of golden wheat, her eyes gently clouded, adorned by a crown of hop flowers. For a brief moment, she sternly looked around and spoke: “I’m the Queen of ALEs! How dare you not have me on offer?!” Yes, SHE was the one — New England IPA. We bowed our heads in respect and said, “Welcome, Your Majesty. Flow into our tanks, barrels, bottles, and glasses!”

Our queen has a light brown to golden colour, a creamy foam, and a cloudiness typical for this style of beer. Its aroma is fresh and full of sparks, as is proper. You'll get notes of citrus fruit — mainly orange and lime, but also pineapple, tree sap, and wheat. The beer remains fresh long after you take a sip, it has a full body, and at times, you might feel like it contains real fruit or juice. However, that is not the case. We adhere to “traditional” recipes and used only the typical ingredients — 4 different types of malts and 4 types of hops. As you take a sip, you witness the might of the queen — the alcohol warms you up and the bitterness from the citrus fruit and the hops in the finish seals the deal.
